Today was pretty much a do nothing day as it's a special day for Debi and I. We did go into Trinidad to look over the town and pick up some supplies. We also stopped at their Casino for a little fun. Tomorrow we plan on catching up on some chores around the house and do a little maintenance on the coach and toad. I still have the back and side to wax, as I only did the front and one side the other day.....Here's a short version of today...

This was taken southbound on Hwy 101 about 8 miles south of Klamath, California...

A bit hard to see here, but this is southbound Hwy 101 just north of Trinidad. That is the ocean beaches in front of us through the trees. I can't believe how uncrowded the roadways are. Guess that's a benefit of high fuel prices....

Here's the harbor at Trinidad. It's a beautiful harbor. As you can see, the fog is pretty heavy here. Those are boats at anchor in the bay. We hope to return here on a clear day for more pictures.

Above is another lighthouse along the California Coast at Trinidad. So far, our favorite has been Pigeon Point, on the California Coast, 50 miles south of San Francisco. They've remodeled the caretakers house into a hostel with a hot tub overlooking the ocean. Where can you have that kind of ambiance for less than $26/night ??? Not surprising, they are booked one year in advance, with a 14 day maximum stay per year.....
